
Dr. Pretia Carpenter, DNP, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Dr. Carpenter is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree and extensive experience providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health care across the lifespan. Her clinical background includes performing comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and integrative treatment planning for children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in both telehealth and in-person settings.

​I bring my extensive clinical experience, along with a strong foundation in trauma-informed, client-centered, culturally responsive care. My clinical expertise includes but is not limited to mood and anxiety disorders, depression, ADHD, sleep disorders and incorporating holistic approaches such as mindfulness, supportive therapy and lifestyle support into treatment plans.

As the co-founder of The Wellness Space, I am passionate about expanding access to quality mental health care, promoting interdisciplinary collaboration, and fostering a healing environment that supports the whole person mind, body, and spirit. I value strong partnerships with physicians and other providers to ensure safe, coordinated, and patient-centered outcomes.

Dr. Chante’ Fason is a dually board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with more than 20 years of clinical expertise. She holds a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and has devoted her career to providing compassionate, evidence-based
care across the lifespan.

My clinical background spans psychiatric supportive living environments, individuals served
through the Department of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (DIDDS), and older
adults with complex mental and physical health needs. I am committed to understanding
each person’s unique story and tailoring treatment plans that honor the whole individual, mind,
body, and environment.
